Hi all, 

Does anyone have any idea on what this type of fixing is? And more importantly how to remove it? Attempting to take the shoddy pedal cover out to be replaced and sections of metal have been connected using these, see pictures below! I’m guessing it may just be a case of prying apart the metal till it pops out

    3/16th drill bit 3 seconds later out or as HawkNorth said grinder , less than 3 seconds only made out of ally.

    Its an Avdel or more commonly known as a RIVNUT, it is crimped in place, drill out or grind head off to remove, bolt can just be screwed out
