Hi All

Has any one got a picture of the clutch release arm from a dohc gearbox (MT75).

without the release bearing in, too check if its the correct one, (large retangular hole with no lugs to locate the release bearing).

i have been told today that these can be used for the VX 16v conversion and if any one has a spare, can i beg, borrow or steal, (or pay if i must) to try it in Andy windows hood, before we start to rebuild his car.

Ps may need the locating peg too

Cheers

Mitch

Mitch,

This may help....or not!!

Im going down the XE 16v route.

The part number I was told to get by Rally Design is 71BB7541GA

The clutch release arm fitted to my Pinto/Type 9 is 71BB7541KA.

The SBD website shows a clutch arm as you describe, so I suspect you are right.

My Ford dealer had no idea what it was fitted to, so I have lashed up a spare arm temporarliy. But I'm off to a scrappy now to see if I can find a DOHC clutch arm which may fit better than my cut&shut version.

WALDEN Engineering quote the same part no Clutch Arm

SBD picture is HERE then go to SITE MAP, then CLUTCH RELEASE MECHANISMS

Cheers, Bob
