We took our car for an Sva at beverly today and unfortunetly failed. But luckily only on 2 things which were

  • 1.Our handbrake mounting angle (1 inch angle) was flexing ever so slightly which in itself was no problem but unfortunately we had bolted our T Piece to that and because its a rigid pipe he failed us on that.
  • 2. Rear Right brake was not good enough when the handbrake was applied

Ian was very fair and helpful and Beverley testers seemed very friendly.

Drove through 3 inches of snow to get there (Luckily we were in the Mondeo, Trailering the Hood  )

So soon be there folks

Joey and Bill :D :D

Hi Joey,

Great news

Well if thats all they could find wrong then, you have done well.

Easy sorted, book it in for the retest and get it regestered,

Good luck with the retest, look forward to seeing the finished car at Stafford and reading you're report for the Mag

Well done Joey (you too Bill, but its not you'res you only watched him build it)

Mitch :D :D :D :D :D

That's the trouble you sub-let just 2 bits of work and look what happens.

:p :p

One good bit was when he started he got out his "Sphere" and went to the front RH wheel and looked for about 2 seconds then stood up and said " Have you done an SVA Before?" And then put his "Spere" away :D :D :D

He was very complimentary about the car and said that the position of the *&(*&* was the best he had seen  :p :p :p

Now whens the snow going to stop
