Can someone recommend some front camber & castor settings for my s3 please, also does anyone have any plans for making a camber gauge ?

Hi Richard, I use about 3° castor and 1/2 to 1° negative camber. if you use too much castor the steering is heavy, not enough and there is no self centering. I just measure mine with a square edge ie. a largish piece of wood cut square and measure distances, then a bit of basic trig. If you do a search on here there has been quite a bit on this in the past including I think someone with a clever castor gauge.

I used a U shaped piece of MDF (Ta Paul!) which touches the rear of the two balljoints. (U on its side)

 

I have a plumb weight swinging from the top of it, with a line drawn from the pivot point of the plumb line parallel with the front edge. Use a protractor to draw a series of degree lines backwards from the parallel plumb line.

 

Can also be used to measure camber using spacers against the wheel rim.
