I'm down to 1/4 tank, and whatever else the gauge can't register.

 

Lots of stop-start and sitting in traffic up to now, so not the best consumption, but I reckon I'm still on for close to 200 miles

Our 8 gallon tank actually turned out to be a 30 ltr one :gdit: :gdit:

So we started spluttering on a long incline (upwards) at 163 miles we seem to be averaging 30 mpg so you should be ok for another 60

Well, it finally spluttered to a halt today - thought I'd be kangarooing down the road for about a mile, but it was almost instantanious, and thankfully on a quiet stretch of road

 

'Empty' was indicated around 150-160 miles, and it finally conked out at.........

 

 

 

...(I can feel the tension ).......

 

 

 

 

......233.7 miles !!

 

 

I'm pretty pleased with that. I don't know what the exact MPG figures are, but for the type of driving I was doing, which was mostly a few miles here and there after work, and loads of slow back-lanes in 3rd gear, it seems respectable enough.

 

Plus, up to now I've been heading for the closest petrol station about every 100 miles, so it'll be nice not to have to worry about it so much.
