am i right in thinking that all the sieras right throughout the range ie 1.6 1.8 2.0 were fitted with either the type 9 or the mt75, if i use a type 9 are the input and output shafts the same size on all the boxes, many thanks

ive been offered a type nine gearbox "five speed" out of a granada 2.0 ltr, can anyone please tell me if this will be compatible with 2.o ltr pinto, and mk 4 cortina 2.0 ltr back axle, and the best bit is its FREE, or did granadas not have the type 9 box. thanks again LYNN

depends on the year of Granada, if its a 2.0ltr SOHC and not the DOHC then it should be a type 9,

i would check my haynes manual, but someone whos building a Cobra pinched it last week

I think before 1989 should be type 9,

easy to tell T9 has a removeable bellhousing, MT75 has a cast ally casing
