2.0 Pinto Valve Sizes?

Hi All,

I have been offered a gasflowed, polished cylinder head for my 2.1 pinto. The guy has told me the valve sizes:

 

Inlet - 43mm

Exhaust - 36mm

 

Are these bigger than the standard 2.0L Pinto head? Does anyone know the standard valve sizes?

The Speedpro book says standard 2ltr are 36 - 38mm Inlets depending on head age.

 

Group 1 is 44.4 inlet 38 exhaust so dunno what these are....

Rally design show 3 sizes of inlet valve, 1.5, 1.75, 1.8 inches but no exhaust valves. I'll leave you to do the conversion....HTH Bob.

1.50" = 38.10mm

 

1.75" = 44.45mm

 

1.80" = 45.72mm

According to Mr. Haynes the Cortina Pinto had inlet 42mm for both 1.6 and 2l Exhaust 34.2 (1.6) 36mm (2l).
