2b Power Steering

Hi guys, just being trying to search through the history but about 80 pages so thought this might be quicker and easier!

Has anyone considered or put power steering on a 2B?

Does it work and is it worth it?

Cant help but thing it would make driving at speed easier...........or deadly?

I thought the advantage of power steering was in its slow speed operation and at higher speeds is not that necessary

Someone has put it in a Hood not sure if its a 2B or not

hopefully not much travelling at low speed Bill although in mine its not exactly fast, and therfore your right not much point as far as i can tell, but thought i would ask the question!

Guys,

I have fitted a power steering rack, but it is not powered.

I wanted a quick rack but couldnt get one anywhere.

 

Response at speed (anything over 10mph) is very good, but (obviously) makes it a little heavier to park.......a small price to pay.

 

It needed a few mods to the steering column, but fairly straightforward.
