P Clip Distance

I have spent a good couple of hours searching throught the threads and have found measurment from 100mm to 300mm. Now if i have to i will secure Fuel and brake lines and the loom at the shortest distance. So those of you that have passed the dreaded SVA what are the distances you have used.

Good advice follow that and you wont go wrong, remember you cant put to many

I expect you know this already but just in case, electric and fuel must be run and clipped separately.

Thanks. On the series 3 i am running the fuel down the passenger side overhang and the brakes and electrics down the other.

I used exactly the same layout. Great minds and all that!

P clips done at 150mm and just to make it more awkward the nylon clips were either to big or to small so I used polyurethane adhesive to glue in little bits of bike inertube. Why didn't I buy some of those nice rubberlined ones. Still picking the glue of my hands.

Just move the hole on the under side part

Thanks Dave such a simple solution and i was too simple to think of it however i have a lot more P clipping to do and thats another solution i will put in to good effect.

What do you mean by the 'overhang'?

What material/bore did you use for the fuel supply line & return?

Am I getting to give you a beer on 3rd July?
