Can anyone offer any advice,

Are all Sierra fuel filler pipes the same ?

I have an Exmo and the two sierra fuel filler pipes i have do not seem to fit as far as i can see it is the angle of the bend which is causing the problem.

Any other good solutions for the filler pipe ???

Thanks in advance

Agreed - only use the saloon version. Also don't forget to cut off the excess that sticks into the tank or it will take you forever to fill as the filler pump will keep cutting off when you get about half way. I left about 1" sticking inside the tank and can now fill at will!

Anyone have any strong views on the 'super-gunge' that should be used to seal the pipe to the tank? Mine does not appear to leak, but I cannot get rid of the petrol pong in this area of the 'boot'.

Make sure that it is FULLY petrol proof. For example, silicon based sealants turn into long chain molecules when introduced to petrol and this will screw up your entire fuel system and is very hard to remove
