Help With Car Pulling To Left

CAN any one help

 

My friend has a yaris, and it pulls very poorly to the left when driving in a straight line.

 

She had it realligned tracking sorted in leeds and this did not solve theproblem, we have had it in today in to a garage up here, and they have carried out the same things and it is still not resolved.

 

I have tried the usual tyre pressures etc, and am wondering if anyone could suggest any other problems that may have caused this?

Binding brakes?

Is the rear alignment OK as well as the front?

Has your friend just bought the car or had it for some time? If its only just started and the car hasn't had a knock then it has to be brakes, tyres or suspension / wheel alignment. Are all the bushes OK?

I know it sounds odd, but I have been amazed how many time the following trick

has solved this sort of problem.

 

Just swap the right & left front wheels over

(unless theyre unidirectional...unlikely on a Yaris .)

I had very similar problem on the Firefox after doing a track day at Llandow (Cardiff) - I spent ages checking athe tracking etc. turned out to be uneven wear on the tyres as a results of doing mostly right handed corners - new tyres fixed it.

Daughter had the same thing happen on her Punto, swapped the wheels front/back, problem sorted.
