70mm Flexible Air Hose

I only need about 400mm of it, if anyone has some spare, i'll happy help tidy thing up

Shows have cheap ribbed stuff which is ideal £10 for a long bit

it's for the air flow meter to throttle body.

if you look on his shop he has all sorts of pre formed bends and stuff

i will eventually need 2 straight bits about 3 or 4 inches long

have found this companylink that seem to do the right stuff at reasonable prices, dont know if they have a minimum order policy though

I'd already decided against the aluminium stuff, didn't think i could get it to seal.

what you need is called ''scat hose'' comes in 1/4 inch increments in size.

used a lot in the aircraft industry. silicon based rubber on wire frame.

not cheap as its aviation.

double thickness for smooth inside and out is called sceet hose

 

both very strong and resilient and heatproof etc.

if youre desperate i may be able to source some

I tried the Burton stuff, but it gets damaged too easily. I ended up using the hose from a Montego Turbo Diesel - it's got decent ends, quite strong and very flexible.

right, went to a scappy today and found myself some nice hoses from a volvo and a sierra v6 which coupled together to give me what i want, so i'm well pleased. And only £3 as well
