    Braided Hoses

Yeah I've seen your post regarding these. Does anyone know the required lengths that will work?

    Braided Hoses

I need to order my braided hoses but after reading on here about all the sets are too short I can't actually find a post pointing in the right direction that fits. I have a 2b running sierra gear. As I only want to order once and be correct thanks.
  4. I have a full set of Halfords flexible ratchet scanners and there top items and I really do give them some stick everyday and not broke a mechanism yet. But if you do they do sell a replacement kit so no need to buy a hole new spanner.
  5. Yeah I've been using Colin's site ALOT. I certainly will be doing the lower modification as it looks far superior, also the top mounting pictured on is website where can I get that from if it all as I just have the stainless folded around the tube certainly not ideal and looks shoddy.
  6. Just hot my manifold on and it time to fit the steering column support bracket and pedal box plate, but my question is which side of the chassis does it go??? It's a 2b I've got I'm thinking the column support goes under and the pedal box sits on top then I take it a couple of bolts through the lot to secure?
  7. Purchased 2nd hand ive purchased the kit 2nd hand as an unfinished project and came with the original cast manifold
  8. I'll have a look it may be that the manifold is just too deep to fit, but it is from a 2.0 pinto kit car
  9. Brilliant that's what I was hoping to do, what did you use to pack it?
  10. Just purchased a new manifold 4-1 to replace the cast one on my 2.0 pinto now I've just been to fit it and it seems like the engine is a tad low and the manifold fits onto the studs but at an angle ie the top fitting closer than the bottom due to the manifold sitting on the lower chassis tube. Anyone had this before / any fixing suggestions? All Incan come up with is raising the engine somehow on the mounts or machining a slanted plate to match the two together.
  11. Does anyone have a copy of the build videos on DVD as my tapes I got with the kit don't really work I know there not particularly very good but something's better than nothing. Cheers
  12. I've already looked at gbs and they only list the manifold for the Zero using the zetec engine there is nothing listed for the pinto. Problem is I am at the stage of mounting the steering column and peddle box so obviously wanted to get the correct manifold now as if I come to change It at a later date no doubt the stainless one would faul with the steering
  13. I'm not far from Scarborough. I'd of thought most people don't run the original cast manifold from the seria tho?
  14. Hello guys first post in the forum. I have just purchased a part built (rolling chassis) rh 2B now the manifold that's on is the original cast but I want a stainless system, where's best to get them from as obviously the ones on eBay are for the cars so don't fit the kit cars and exit sideways? Any help Is aprechiated. Mike
