OK quick update. It looks like it could be the switch stalk, as i can get it to work if i miss out the switch, so we are going to get a toggle switch with two positions on to see if that works.

No i can get dipped beam but no main beam. We are now switching to drl headlights to negate the sidelight issue but the main beam is still an issue

I have power to the red lead, however the blue/red and blue /white do not. Could this be the relay or something else as cash get dipped beam but no full beam

This year we may have to bring our superspecies down on a trailer as my dad is going in for an op on 10th April and doesn't think he will be able to get in and out the hood. Is there anywhere to take the Mondeo and trailer as we really want to bring the car to the show stand

The new unit is completely metal but still no lights. Where could I wire in an earth from the 3 pin connector or bullet connectors to give an earth

Just looked at the unit and the unit is metal with metal fixings but the wires have a sleeve round them. Which wire or point on the connector to the bulb should be earthed

Roughly where would that be. The engine bay is an absolute jungle of wires and after the junctions they are all red or separate to different colours

Hi guys Recently just changed some old tatty headlights to some shiny new ones and now don't have a dipped beam or main beam, but do have sidelights and indicators. The wires are connected correctly to corresponding connectors and the bulbs do work as tested on another vehicle. All fuses are working and the switches work. Does anyone have any ideas Dean

On the way back from Stoneleigh the fuel gauge decided to drop dead although it came back to life momentarily. We have a Ford Escort Dash hooked up to a Ford Fiesta fuel tank in our superspec Any help on the wiring diagrams and or possible fixes would be greatly appreciated

Me and my dad own a superspec a rover 2.0 with a mt75 gearbox

Hi all the other day i took of the spare wheel on my Superspec and didn't realize that whoever built it hadn't put retaining nuts on so off came one of the threaded rods but the nut is now deep under the fuel tank. Is there any way of fixing the second bolt and nut back on and also getting under the tank without taking the whole back end apart Thanks Dean

Hi. I have a superspec and when we bought it someone had put two plastic elbows with braided hose on thst have now cracked. I managed to get some hydaulic hose that fitted it and was compliant but it still leaks from the elbow joint into the master cylinder. What is the best solution for this to stop all leaks
