Just had a thought when i went to first start i turned ignition on no light then sure i heard a click then cant remember if turned key off and back on or not but then had ignition light and would turn i wonder But getting spark so what else could that of been hmmmm

Tdc on crank Piston 1 at top checked through plug hole Cam at tdc So that is correct isnt it

Going check as said didnt do belt timming as i was doing exhaust etb But trust who was doing it

I will also check timming isnt 180 out as i didnt do that bit and slip ups can be made but cam and crank marks are linning up

1800 cam fitted wont affect it would it ?????

Well just fully charged battery only took an hour (strange) Then boosted with anorther fully charged battery and still nothing not even trying just turning over Think going to recheck compression etc again tomorow after work

Crank and cam timming marks line up Just thought it wont matter its an 1800 cam and followers will it Not in at minute but will try the lead to block

The diesel was to check leak test when head was off it took couple of hours to soak away so gaps cant be that big I have put the accuspark plugs in so can you gap these Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181661171042 All sparking getting fuel Going to try new battery later But its not even trying just turning

Already done that all bob Got spark and fuel down carb Nothing think was trying at one point Thinking battery might not have enough power in it not sure Wen turning over sounds like pistons squeaking but could be the compression not sure

Timming ok first check done Trying to fire now but battery knackered ful charge 30 seconds trying to fire dead again

Right oil in bores compressions double back to as it was before removed head so i believe the diesel i put in bores cleaned them too well So charge battery bit more and go for start again I will report back soon

Just about to do it battery on charge for a few minutes battery knackered give me 10 mins and i will report back

Chris not bad spanner skiiis As everything done by the book Job done hundreds of time Stu with me at time of doing it so was all double checked Just wondering if the diesel i used cleaned the bores too well now needs oil round them

Right head done Valves relapped New valve stem seals Head back on new gasket bolts and torgued correc wudnt start so checked spark okay Fuel ok So checked compressions 60 psi on all 4 What the hell is going on Think time to walk away Any ideas guys
