Some interesting ideas... I am finding that some spray goes inside the window even with my surrey fitted ( not that it ever rains in Scotland ) I guess I'll 1) try out the mesh theory 2) try side wind deflectors ( I have hinges for doors but never seem to have them with me when I need them and I cant see much with them fitted ) 3) the spoiler idea has merits cause sleet, snow and hail hurt your face at the 70mph needed to try and keep dryish! Looks like I'm in for a soaking testing this..... How come I leave the house in perfect sunshine with a good weather forecast and some localised storm still manages to find me....... must've been bad in a previous life ( or maybe this one ! )

Anyone building one? Are there many of these out there? Any SVA'd? How suitable are they for bike power???? Anyone got a build diary on a website somewhere? Am I really contemplating building another one?????? Its madness...

Got caught in a cloudburst on the Motorway yesterday. Although my wipers work fine I seem to get as much spray on the inside as the outside. - Any clever solutions????

I use a motorbike tax disk holder bolted to the scuttle - still nickable but would take a bit of effort.

I had to put washers ( several) under the exhaust nuts as I hit the untapped bit of the stud before mine was hard up to the gaskets

None that I can think of - I'm sure most are one piece like mine Just need to make sure none of the guages / switches will foul the chassis tubes....

graham I've got a stainless pinto 4-1 off a westie wide body Just about, but not quite fitted in my 2B ( from memory fouled the brake servo ) Nice bit of kit - better than the GBS one ( has provision for a lamda sensor ) was thinking of getting it modified for mine but was in a hurry to get on the road and took the easy way out. If you are intersted I'll try and get some photo's this weekend cheers

Is it a lowered sump - if not well worth investing in the mod. It is possible to get the sump off ( on a 2B anyway ) with a bit of shouting and swearing at it... I had to jack up the engine slightly at one side to get mine out.
