Damm can't find my picture Graham not on road so can't say if this will help.I've built a 'u' shapped structure that is bolted to the bottom front diff/wishbone tube going up to support front diff support, then it goes forward along the tunnel to take the seat belt fixing, It's bolted to the main tunnel bottom over the hole cut out in the floor and the rivets in the sides were replaced with 6mm nuts & bolts. Hopefully the sides are tall anouth to stop the propshaft leaving the confines of the tunnel if it gives way. all from 5MM steel not saving weight but saving worry
  2. Just a quick thank you to all the Hoodies at Donnington for makeing Robert & myself so welcome.The ride in the cars was awsome , can't wait to finish mine now. only down side was the 3 hour wait in carpark before the 3 hour journey home.

  6. try any exhaust fitting place or motor factor and ask for an old renault 4 or 16 cotton reel mount. larger than the mini with a 10mm metric thread. PSMC07C
  7. Hi Adam Bralo website here may fill my rivet holes with sealer not worried about rusting just ingress of water driving though puddles/ fords

  9. Hi everybody been away lately with work, and then had to re-landscape the back garden with the good weather (couldn't wait for the rain so I could get back into the garage ) All the stengthing has used up my long 6mm rivets anybody know where I can get some more?
  10. Push fit so ill have to be careful thanks for the offer of the alloys. will try spacing first as the wheels are what made me buy the donor in the first place
  11. mine also catches on the rear hub carriers (14" wheels) packing out the back hoping it;ll clear.
  12. upto £2500 including donor & kit but not including all the extra tools I needed and thought I had Still along way to go and spending put on hold till the xmas bills are sorted.

    Hi Graham Build is going very slowly due to not liking cold and sorting wiring out (hate this as much as cold). Had heard Marcus had sold his and wish the best to the new owner of the 2 bear build.

  18. broke one of the studs on the old alternator and have been given a replacement with the 3 pin connector. can anybody tell me which wire goe's to which pin please colours on loom are (from 91 donor) red blue blue white thank you colin
  19. Hi Emile dont know if this helps diff at bottom more diff would also scan back over these pages to see the strenghting required. easier to do at the start Graham good luck with the tests car looks the dogs danglies

  21. Started the front shock bracket ( well its a pile of metal bits at mo)
