Mental health is a massive issue. Having a daughter who has been a victim of anorexia, lost a great friend and club member and knowing of at least 3 other members who have suffered illness of the mind, it has little physical presence except to those closest. Is there anything we as a club can do to raise awareness and funds to support those who are in the darkest of places. Your thoughts and ideas please, to get things rolling how about a round the uk relay tour.

A few of my machines have been converted to single phase by changing the motor. You can pick up cheap 3phase machines and new single phase motors are pretty cheap as well.
This is my old drill. 32mm twist drill through 1” steel plate without breaking a sweat (this is where the gearbox comes into its own);
Even got a good traditional belt guard called common sense !!!!!!!!

I agree, a few months ago I had a problem and they resolved it quickly and efficiently. They are improving all the time, however I think their prices are increasing well above inflation and I wonder if this will do more harm than good. It's a very fine line balancing profit and customer loyalty.
material costs are going up more than inflation. I did a job this week and the fencing panels had gone up 27% since quoting in september

Static Displays 2017
FINAL DIRECTIONS FOR JOINING
Hi there!
Thanks for registering your vehicle for static display at Motofest 2017.
Here are a few final joining details which we want to clarify to make sure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable event.
DRIP TRAYS are mandatory! Please bring something along to put under the car, just in case.
As you arrive we will be need to do a quick check under the bonnet, inside and in the boot before you can park up.
Please make sure keys are not left in your car at any time
Please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to a Motofest team member.
TIME:
You can arrive from 07:30 hours each day, but access to Broadgate will be closed at 09:30 hours. We do have plenty of display spaces near the Broadgate. You will be directed to one of these areas in the event that Broadgate is full.
If you park in the Broadgate we would ask that you be prepared to stay all day until joining the Coventry BID Classic parade laps at 17:00 hours (5pm). If you are unable to do this please ask a Marshall to park outside the Broadgate upon your arrival.
LOCATION:
Please head for Little Park Street, which is located just off junction 5 of the Ring Road. Satnav CV1 2JZ. The ring road is closed, but some of the junctions still remain open to get you into the city.
Once on Little Park Street one way section, classic vehicles will be directed into the High Street to be parked within the Broadgate initially.
Classic parking is on a first come first served basis so please try to arrive early to ensure a parking space. We have planned as much space as possible, and will endeavour to get you parked up and on show. However we are in a city centre location, so we have limited space and cannot guarantee a parking spot.
When you arrive, you will be handed a display pass. Please ensure that you display the pass in your vehicle.
If you are involved in the sprint circuit display, please follow the instructions sent out by the MotoFest Race Director
.
DIRECTIONS:
We recommend that if you have an Android or Apple smartphone download and use the Waze app for directions to Little Park Street, Coventry, CV1 2JR. They have created special maps for the event weekend which will get you around the road closures.
You can get the app here: https://www.waze.com/
CLUBS ONLY:
If you are part of a club stand display, follow the instructions provided by your club representative.
For your club location please refer to the email which Neil sent out.
Please print the location map sent to you, and bring it along!
Due to the need to search the display cars in Broadgate, wont have as many volunteers available to help you park up. Can we therefore ask all clubs to work together to make your displays work. Thank you!
Don't forget DRIP TRAYS!
OTHER STUFF:
Please be aware that we cannot accommodate support vehicles and trailers in the display areas, so take that into account if you are planning to trailer your classic vehicle for display.
Pre-registration is NOT required to bring a classic vehicle along, so please spread the word if any friends decide to come along at the last minute.
The MotoFest team look forward to welcoming you to Coventry MotoFest and thank you for your continued support in celebrating Coventrys automotive past, present and future. If you have any questions please email me at displays@coventrymotofest.com

BEER
Byatt's Brewery, a local Coventry microbrewer, will be bringing their specially created MotoFest Multigrade light ale to the event again in 2017. Byatt's have been eager and enthusiastic supporters of the event since the beginning, and we're delighted that they're coming back.
