Some git over the road has 4 cars, he has recently purchased a big merc van which he parks
in front of the dropped kerb of my garage/drive.
I have asked him 4 times to move it and even got a do not park sign on my gate (after putting
a dent in my rear wing trying to squeeze out)
Anyway he was there again last night so before i declare an all out war I was wondering if
what he is doing is illegal???

After camping Sunday night to leave the show at 9am today to get to work, Jeez! the rain on the M69 nearly took the skin off my face cos of the aeroscreen (maybe full face helmets are in order for the rain).....
Found the RHOCAR register but couldnt find the camp area, so had to make do with a mixed field right at the back.
But 1st run out to a show and had a brill time, cant wait to do some more.

some of the roadside recovery copanies will NOT attend you if you havnt got a spare wheel, and the tyre foam stuff can fail to do its job.
Mitch
Yes many years ago I was stuck 300 miles away on the coast in a Fiat X19 after a puncture and the spare was punctured too
(just brought it and failed to check) anyway the large royal type of recovery company said on the phone they could not touch
it if I hadnt looked after the spare. They sent a contractor to do a road side repair if possible, whereby he just lifted me up and said
"get in, youve got two flat tyres and a flat spare havnt you?"
Gotta hand it to some of these guys.

Could anybody tell me the requirements for having (or not as in my case) a spare wheel
whilst on the road, or at MOT time?
Thanx

NIP! Yes I got one a couple of weeks ago in Leicester, I could see the yellow cameras and white speed markers a few hundred yards away
and thought mmmmm 30 mph limit. I was just over and so decided to touch my brakes well before the white markers
and straight away another camera went off that works off 2 very thin hardly noticeable strips across the road (as i said earlier, well before the
white speed markers).
Anyway I got booked for 36mph, BUT, I have been given the option of paying £60 without the 3 points, as long as I attend a speed awareness
course, so not so bad.
Regarding speed control, I have heard that in Europe, (possibly parts of Spain) that when you get clocked by a speeding device it will change
the very next set of traffic lights to red and make you wait.
You dont get penalised apart from
a) Being even later for work than before.
Having a long queue of angry late motorists behind you.
I think that would work a treat, but some do say that here in the UK that they like extra revenue.
Dont know how true that is?????????

What are the pro`s and cons in general with the 2b 2L pinto handling?
Are they pretty good at handling the corners etc on a dryish day (without 1000`s of pounds mods)
or as a local anti kit car subaru mechanic states "organ grinders"

Thats rightA big washer needed.
Not too much "fary liquid" or it will keep sliding off.

Hi all,
Got my Robin last week and ended up towing it home due to rad hose falling off.
Then when I got home I jacked it up to refit a hose.
Anyway today I went out for a play and noticed when i got back both shocks were hanging off.
I suspect this is something to do with one of my above actions, but should they come off that
easy???
More to the point how do i get them back on?
I am new to mechanics so will probably be asking a lot of dumb sounding questions, but
I really want to do this hoody thing so I need to start somewhere.

Hi all,
We pick up our hood 2b this Friday.
Complete novices so we are a little stuck with certain issues such as
Where can I buy a tonneau cover from? and how much? as our car has no
windscreen and so no weather gear.

Well thanks for that especially Enforcer. I will try the diplomatic approach once more before logging and photographing.
