    Engine Temp

Hi Richard Ta for that. Is it better cooling on the inside? Supose with it being on the outside when it comes on you get nice warm legs as it blows though the bulkhead. Graham

    Engine Temp

Ta for all your replies. By the sounds of it the car is running about right then....high 90's seems to be the norm. I had it on fast idle about 3500 rpm for about 15mins and she got so hot the fuse holders cover melted on the bulkhead!! Just a thought does the fan sit on the nose cone side of the rad or engine side like modern cars? Ta Graham

    Iva At Beverley

Well...took "zoe" for her IVA at Beverley Monday expecting the worst. She did fail but only on two minor things so on the whole I'm really pleased. Lambda sensor was running a tad too high and the steering gator on the nearside was touching the lower wishbone...thats it!! The fella at Beverley was great. He was actually human and "normal". Her made the whole process very easy and made me feel very comfortable. So on the whole not a bad day. Re test date is the 28th August so hopefully will be on the road soon. Graham
  10. Yeah they are at the top. I have removed the rears and placed them on top of the disc so the nipple was pointing up too. I have also wound the pistons right in and clamped them then used the Eezibleed system but stil spongy pedal. I really don't know what to do now Graham
  11. Hi Ian Ta for the reply. I have been having real issues with my brakes. The pedal is really spongy and I have bled them so many times now. I have put bleed nipples in the cylinder and the pedal is rock hard so I know thats fine. When you put your foot on the brakes its fairly hard to start with then it slowly drops down. I cant see it being air in the calipers as I have wound the pistons in and G clamped them in possition to get as much air out as pos. Any help would be appreciated as my IVA is Monday!!! Graham
  12. Cheers mate, I have put a back stop on. I'm just sorting out the plunger bolt. I have bought a long M10 which I will cut down bit by bit and find the correct length. I have been told that the Sierra master cylinder olny has about 30mm travel. Dont know how true that is. I'm bricking myself over Monday...the test and the drive up!!! My Neice and her boyfriend are following me up there with a boot full of tools ect and some more petrol. I'll let you know how I get on. Graham
  13. Morning What length bolt have you all used for the "plunger" from your pedal to the brake master cylinder? Ta Graham
  14. Morning all Been having loads of problems with my Sierra master cylinder and now know its knackered. Been looking about and you can use some Fiat and also Mk 1 Fiesta cylinders. Has anyone got any other ideas about what makes you can use? Cheers Graham

    Q Plate

I already have a cat and wideband Lambda but i think I have knackered it. Before I had it tuned it was spittting flames as it was over fuel'd so I think the cat will be buggered
