  1. Hi Paul I got some Polyurethane Bushes for the rear of my 2b, A lot cheaper than those available at the shows. Very helpful & friendly “if they did not make what I want, Might be able to match, mod, etc other product to fit" I was asking about bushes for coil over.   8. Hi Rob Just had an MOT on my 2b (Pinto) yesterday, the first time without a servo, Passed no problem Figures were Fronts 300 rears (drums) 275 Hand brake 240 Hope this info helps, Servo not needed, can still lock all 4 wheels. Cheers Kevin
  9. Hi Alan Looks good to me, large too. A poss tip cut a hole for access to the top shock bolt, before you put the top on, use a rubber blanking gromit. I struggled (bolt going the wrong way) when I had to change the shocks to coil overs. Cheer Kevin ps Bill whats Joey up to in that boot

    Hot Starts

    Jase A small problem with Ford wiring looms was the terminals on the ignition barrel lead heat up and break contact with the main loom. Thus causing difficulties when cranking and starting. Cheers Kevin

The symptoms you described could be caused by an electrical fault, (a breakdown in electrical contact when it gets hot) possible faulty componets - coil, condenser, wiring fault, connectors, etc. "I know that the car needs a correct distributor fitting" - if you had inductive system fitted it could be the amplifier or winding in the distributor.     I'm not too sure on set up on a Zetec, but if they are hydraulic tappets it could be one of these causing the tapping problem, and I would suspect that thinner oil would not help the situation. Hope this is of some help. Cheers Kevin

Hi Simonb 2b plus with recaros handbrake top of tunnel between seats Pluses - good arm rest ,easy to reach & a grab handle for getting in & out Not so goods ( my seat are bolted direct to floor no runners) Passeger get elbowed when appling,(wife looks like a Panda) not much leaverage as arm is high, sometimes difficult on hill starts (Fly off being worked on) Hope these point may help as its not till its finished that you can fully apprase after lots of hard work to you find its Cra******p Can do pics if req Cheers Kevin
