has anyone had this problem with unleaded lying in tank over a period of time

Anyone seen one up close or started building one.Has RHE had one through an SVA.

After 20 miles or so,ones arsh is getting numb.The kit i built is the older MK2 model and i fitted the seats supplied with the kit,whitch have very thin foam padding.I am 6'2'' so seat height is important.Is this something i'll just have to put up with

I have just got myself a 2litre engine.Engine No reads REC and so on.I take it i just use the letters EC when dateing the engine.

I know the mounting is further back on the 5 speed box.Is there much diffrence in the gearlever posision.I'm sure there's some of you guys have made the change.

Any thoughts on this new kit

Cheers Jim took cam belt cover off noise stopped,looks like it was rubbing on crankshaft pulley.

When my 1600 pinto returns to tickover a hissing or chuffing sound appears at the front of the engine.Can't find anything slack ie manafolds carb etc.

Got info of Dave Andrews site. On the older models the sierra shocks were so long they could'nt be fitted straight up and down.Capri shocks will fit.Ithink i've solved the problem,my top mounts my be to high.

My mate can't get the emission level below 9% on his 2ltr pinto injection

I fitted capri rear shocks and retained donor springs.Why are the shocks settling in an almost closed posision.I can hear them bottom out while driving.

When the engine is idling or half throttle or or to floor,the flow though the clear in line filter seems to go from a trickle with the filter not even half full to the odd surge still not filling the filter.Surely the filter should be full with the engine running.

I used heater hose held on with small cable ties.SVA man who happens 2b a very nice man was happy with that.

i got my mk2 passed 2nd around on june 18th at aberdeen test centre.My failier 1st time was because the wipers did'nt self park,poor air flow on drivers side demister,fog lamp not plumb and some edges.Had to take Qplate from VRO but thats ok by me.

I am getting my car ready for the SVA test in a few weeks, Mark II Robin Hood. Has any other Mark II owners had problems getting one through the test.
