Yep, went to wrong one... One I was ment to go to was Near NEC, roundabout and a flyover... I was down some back lanes, not fun with hood lack of lights! Lol...

I asked my girlfriend's dad, ex copper (30yrs) and worked solihull area for a fair chunk of that, he directed me to the same pkace. But it's called "Stonebridge Arms" so i put "Malt Shovel" into google and came up with more of a resturant than pub... I overheard a convo about the Mercedes a guy got his wife being £12,000 cheaper than his BMW and a far better car, he felt he wasted £48,000 on his BMW and should've got a Porsche. He was definatly around my age (not gonna say how old, but under 30). From the second i walked through the door i felt out of place and alarm bells were ringing.

 

Oh well, next month i WILL make it and meet you all at the Toby Carvery, Stonebridge Inn (formally Malt Shovel).

 

Hahaha... What fun!
