Hi Graham,

Seats look nice,

I had thought of putting in box section accross the floor, but now I wonder if im panicing about nothing and a more simple solution will do.

When I spoke to Richard this morning he told me there was nothing wrong with the kit, the company was unsure as to its future and that they would assist people in there builds.

anyway bobbins finished now just need slipped into the box section and nipped up.

I ordered some of the easyweld rods they arrived this morning I will play with them tomorrow.

Speak to you soon

Keith.

Keith... Me too

The solution is much simpler now I have seen the car that failed sva.

Just some common sense and some 4 mm plate and a few bolts instead of rivets and I think it will pass sva

Guest Tim Norman

When the 2b first arrived on the scene it looked like it might develop into a them and us and look at it now!! OK the lightweight won't be in the same numbers as the 2b but in time I hope that those few idiots will get over their predjudices and the Lightweight will be just like a 2B, i.e. just one of the many Hoods to come out of Mansfield!!. :)

This forum sorted out all the problems with the 2B and I'm sure the same will be said of the Ligtweight in years to come. :)

Power to your elbow. :D

hi tim thanks for your input ,

we as lightweight builders appreciate the help of the whole of rhocar.

the advice and tips are invaluble , the issue is that that this is an alloy car, in that some of us are trying not to add 4mm steel to a alloy tub, if it was an s7 mono this would not be a prob as it is a steel tub,

as most of us appreciate different metals react causing electrolytic action ,after all its a lightweight not suposed to be a sherman tank, regards graham
