Sierra Accelerator Pedal To Bike Carbs

I am trying to source an accelerator cable that will connect the standard sierra pedal to the GSKR/Mikuni carbs. The current standard cable is far to long and the fitting at the carb is to big, any one got a solution??

You can shorten the outer & inner cables neatly using a thin 0.8mm cutting disk in an angle grinder.

 

You can also get solderless nipples.!!! small hollow collars tapped in one side to take a small cap head bolt

which locks on the inner cable.

Post some pics of the carb linkage, its been a year or two since I tangled with bike carbs, last time was twin AMALS on a Bonneville !!!.

 

Rally design sell a twin cable set up for Webers/Dellortos including an adaptor for the pedal, which may help?

Hi paul I have used a bike brake cable on mine, the nipple on one end fits the carbs and have a clamp arrangement on the other end. The pedal end may need extending to get full travel on the carbs.
