Finished the thread adapters for my wishbnes M18fine > 1/2" UNF20 to take rose joints instead of transit ball joints.

Yes. They also give you much more adjustability, and remove the 'stiction' associated w/ rubber/poly bushes, allowing your suspension to move and thus do what it is supposed to do.

They also mean you have to set the suspension up much more accurately as there is no "give" in them.

 

They can also go out of adjustment more easily for the same reason (pot holes, kerbs etc).

 

When they go out of adjustment you run the risk that they could bind & lock solid. (although I'm sure this is a minor risk).

 

Great on track mabe not so great for the road.

One of the best things about rose-jointed suspension is that you *CAN* adjust them soo accurately. W/ bushings, the amount of slop when the bush compresses adds too much variableness to the suspension. And because of the different angles of that compression, it makes that variableness almost impossible to account for.
