Fog Light

mmmm..... Not quite sure what's going on now here

Link Wire 56 has 12v when lights are off or on sidelights.

Link Wire 56 has 0v when headlights are on (Dipped & Main).

No good then to power Fog Light :( :(

I've decided to power them therefore from an ignition controlled live (via a fuse).

Presuming I've understood correctly, I'm pretty sure this will be OK for SVA.

Hi Nigel,

Yes I would prefer to do this actually. Can I splice into the sidelights at the Fusebox?

I think I tried this last night but it was late and I was tired. All sorts of weird things started to happen, so I went back into the house feeling grumpy.

Sorry Phil, I seemed to have have hi-jacked your thread. At least we'll both get there in the end (wherever that is!)

Doh! :o

Sorted now. The three wires which I had at the switch were Black (Earth), Blue/Yellow (To Fog Light) & Blue/Red (Supply). There was also an unused Red (Illumination). I've simply swapped the Blue/Red (now surplus) for the Red. All now working OK. Happy Bunny :D :D :D .

Unless anything goes wrong, hopefully this concludes the wiring of my car :) :) .

I'm sure your all sighing with relief
