Build Up Insurance

After the last thread of how much to build, i thought i have, realistically, 3 grand on the drive way, so about time i thought about a bit of build up insurance.

Is there such a thing

What does build up insurance cover you for? I've heard of it, but haven't done anything about it. I've got a basically finished car with fuel in it sitting in the garage, so some insurance seems in order!

Flux - £75 on original kit price and on chassis number (superspec), went up to £140 when the car was re-valued.

Build up cover was 3rd party fire and theft + accidental damage, so if I blow it up during the build I was coverd very reasuring
