i wonder if anyone can help with this...

 

i noticed that one of my lights on full beam isnt as bright as the other one. side lights are fine, but main beam one is half or perhaps only a third as bright. the bulbs on, but not very much.

 

anyone got any ideas? it cant be the bulb can it?

I would suspect a bad earth or a bad connection somewhere down the line. Try the earth first.

The other common fault is to mix up the wires at the bulb so you have one filament on for dip and two filaments in series on for main. Look carefully into the bulb that goes dim to see.
