Windscreen

Have you thought of putting in a rear screen? Fill in the space from roll-bar to seatbelt bar with a perforated screen--fix temp. with cable ties--test--blank over the perf. with stiff card-- try again--try different speeds--if you can stop the wind curling back over the screen you should stop the wet as well--works for BMW soft-tops. Guest Tim Norman

I had a "spoiler" made in perspex which sat on top of the screen and extended about 3" beyond the screen and slightly upwards. Works a treat.

I'll take a piccy and post it tomorrow.

Some interesting ideas...

I am finding that some spray goes inside the window even with my surrey fitted

( not that it ever rains in Scotland )

I guess I'll

1) try out the mesh theory

2) try side wind deflectors ( I have hinges for doors but never seem to have them with me when I need them and I cant see much with them fitted )

3) the spoiler idea has merits cause sleet, snow and hail hurt your face at the 70mph needed to try and keep dryish!

Looks like I'm in for a soaking testing this.....

How come I leave the house in perfect sunshine with a good weather forecast and some localised storm still manages to find me....... must've been bad in a previous life ( or maybe this one ! )
