Wiring Headache

Hi, I'm currently building a 2b and have now ground to a halt... I have reached the dreaded wiring stage.

The problem that I have is that this is a project I have picked up mid way through the build so all wiring is already "loosly" in place and nothing appears to be in the right place!

Does any one out there have an "idiots" guide to the wiring for the starter/ altenator/ coil/ ignition????? The wiring is for a 2L Pinto....

cheers

Tazzzzzzzzzzzzzzman,

The wiring should be a joy, not a chore. The sense of achievement when you get everything working is one of the best parts of the build.

My biggest piece of advice would be to solder all joints. NEVER use scotch locks and insulate with heat shrink wherever possible.

If you feel your soldering isn't the best, try this guide

CLICKY

Plastic conduit is really cheap off ebay so cover everything with that when you are done and it will not only function well but look good and be protected.
