I will have to see what santa brings me,

but for the time being a 2.1 sitting there waiting to be put in, a set of new clocks for the dash(smiths from e-bay rev counter and speedo £25 each still boxed.birthday pressie from wifey)

new steering rack to fit so the rad sits vertically, oh and a new set of shocks so it handles as well.

so hope not, i have enough todo to it :D.

well they do say it's never finished.

but a new tools and cabinate would come in useful for fitting this little lot so i better get writing to santa

nah. im just making sure i get some of my redundancy money before the wife finds somthing else she wants doing in the house.

The dearest thing was the suspention at £340 for new ajustable coilovers to replace the zimmerframes which in my opinion are totaly useless.

Clocks all came from e-bay and were very cheap.

engine was a bargain i got in summer. £50

rack was swap from a fellow member.

when these are fitted that should be it for a a while.

Gentlemen,

I'm after a mig welder so I can glue metal together, but as I'm a welding beginner and I don't want anything beyond DIY size, what would you guys suggest?

I guess mig is better than arc but is mig better than no gas mig? If the gas one is best, how easy is it to get the gas replenished?

Cheers for the help.

As for my dream pressie...........a 'pass your sva test guarantee' card.

These guys http://www.welduk.com where very helpful to me, and their book "Mig Welding" is worth the money. Then look around for some second hand equipment (e-bay always has loads of stuff)
