Hi Paul

I would be Soooooooooooooooooooo happy to pop over and take the P*SS / I mean help out LOL

PM me your Number and post code if you are not at the mouse next week (can't remenber how to get to your's)

Just shout if you need anything.

I can get my hands on a 4 carb balancer if that is any good? but no emmisions tester I'm afraid.

  • 2 weeks later...

thanks for replies

a few more bits sorted this weekend.

CO checked at 1.4%- IVA limit is 3.5% :good:

exhaust noise checked at 98db, might chuck in another scubber :shok: just to be sure

secondary fixing for top ball joint mount(drilled & bolted)

many thanks to Steve(redspec) for help & guidance.

Main worry now is the brakes, they seem ok but dont really know how

good they are till there tested

cheers Paul

Hi Nick

A mate had his Tiger Cat fail at Newcastle as a secondary fixing was needed through the top ball joint mount(the bit the cycle wing brackets are welded to),

the pinch bolt isnt considered enough. The tester showed him a picture of a failed unit.

see my pic attached, the second fixing(dome head allan bolt) is to the right of the pinch bolt.

Hope that helps

Cheers Paul

Posted this before but worth a second look..........

After this happened on the A1 services I have fitted two 3mm roll pins each side, as said stronger in sheer than a bolt.
