Just browsing eBay and came across these Odyssey batteries. eBay item:320636110134

 

Nothing to do with me but seem a good price.

These are a good price (paid £85 for new) same model number as ours BUT they are second hand; & I have no idea how,at point of purchase/delivery,it would be possible to make sure they are good'uns, like all batteries they do have a finite charge/discharge life cycle.

These batteries are very good and we use them in our jump packs, They do however have a limited life span depending on how used, Our's are constantly charged in the van, removed to jump start a vehicle ( and they will start a transit ) then placed back on charge, our vans run for about 8 hours of the day so get a good charge everyday, In these condition they usually last 2 years,

 

I wouldnt buy any type of second hand battery as you'll only know the condition once its arrived and wont start a scooter.

 

Buy it, send it to Nigeria where its worth about £300.

 

Been to 3 customers this week who wanted to keep their old knackard battery to send to Nigeria,
