Detling Show

hi everyone much like dave f i have just signed up to the forum and only live down the road from detling, after many years of wanting a zero i have arranged to go up to gbs on the 28th to view and place my order i will be going to the show again this year and will hopefully see some of you there for a chat and look round the cars.

I'll be there on Sunday as working on the Saturday. Find me most probably at the SKCC stand but I'lll wander over and see you chaps.

a few guys have said to make sure i come over and say hi at the show, how will i find you lol does the rhocar have its own section at the show ?

Look for a tired brown/beige trailer tent; it's our base camp for Saturday & maybe Sunday. Tea/coffee will be laid on for visitors.

Spent Saturday at Detling dodging the light showers & chatting to numerous visitors. The show seemed well attended in the morning & we managed to find a few things to spend our pocket money on. wandered round the club stands, most were thinly populated,some empty due no doubt to the poor weather; cold & damp all day with only the briefest warming of sun. SKCC had the biggest turn-out due to it being their local show, a big effort none the less with gasebo, music & BBQ to brighten the day.

Detling is a small show in a small hall & the outside stands were soon covered so we left around 3p.m. -- sorry if we missed you.

We did not return on Sunday, instead taking a slow meander home ward; another 500 + miles on Florin's clock.
