Top speed is used to check tyres are correctly rated

Top speed at revs I used the figures in the Haynes for a Sierra

BHP I used the Hynes figure

Total weight be carefull it's the weight the car is designed to carry including passengers, luggage full tank of fuel, hood, screens tool etc.

Usually it is a front and back axle weight + 75Kg each seat + I think 35Kg for luggage each

Something like 550Kg front 650 Kg rear giving a total design weight of 1200Kg

But do ask GBS

1. Maximum design road speed ( for section 3s on IVA1) 100mph, this is so they can check the speed rating on the tyres.

2. Revs at top speed, not sure thet need this, they need the revs at which the maximum engine power is made (for exhaust noise test). I put 77kW at 5200rpm for a 2 litre Pinto (higher rev figures will make the noise test harder to pass as the engine will be more noisy).

3. See above.

4. Total weight, needed for the brake roller test. I put 450Kg for Axle 1 and 600Kg for Axle 2 in section 3u of IVA 1
