yep the 2b is a heavy girl. The chassis is made from 2mm thick tube. the square 16swg is about 1.6mm. Add to that the heavy rear subframe and the massively heavy pinto and it starts to add up.

 

If you fit a k-series engine for example you would lose about 30+kg

I have just come back from a day at Track Developments and my car was weighed at 1364lbs or 620kg, and that is with roof and windscreen etc.
