Steering Wheel Nut/bolt Size?

I'm going to the breakers tomorrow, I plan on getting a sierra steering wheel, but need to know what size socket to take?

Just tried & a 22mm socket goes on the one on mine - its a sierra column from a GBS donor pack if that helps?

I may do the iva myself, I live close to the test centre in Nottingham. I used to work in a car factory doing exterior & interior projection checks (along with other QA checks) so I sort of know my way around building a car? Might be a while before I get that far as I still need quite a few parts and the wife keeps a tight control of my spending.

just asked as GBS have their own wheels for test, so if you were using them you wouldn't have to worry about buying or what size

 

take your point though, perfectly possible to get it through yourself, many have.

£5 well spent on a 4 spoke sierra steering wheel, £5 on a spare set of column switches, also bought another RH FR hub carrier as I was not happy with my thread repair on the pinch bolt (drilled the hole slightly off centre!)
