I'm planning on going over for opening time at 10am, set up the tent, try and cordon off some space for any others arriving on Friday.

Then i'll give the grass a cut on our pitch to make it smart and put up the event shelter, banners, etc.

The Swan at Bucklow Hill was alright last year, standard pub food, if you want to venture further afield then there is the Boddington and Dragon on the way to Wilmslow or for something a bit posher there is the Roebuck Inn in Mobberley. Both of these involve a blast through the tunnels under the runways at Manchester airport which is always good fun.

See you on Friday

Arrived back from Tatton Park earlier and it just has only underlined how wrong the organisers of kit car shows are getting things.

Over 2500 on display

Stall and traders with stuff for mums, dads and kids alike

Live entertainment all day, both days. Beer tent and disco in the evenings.

Funfair and other rides etc for the kids

All the usual food and drink stalls

Now get this, 50,000 people through the gates over the weekend at £7 per head, that's £350,000 plus all the fees from the traders and stall holders. At some times it was like walking down a busy city street there were that many people walking around.

Good turn out on our pitch over the weekend, the cars generated loads of interest from the punters. Nice bit of socialising in the evenings with those that camped over. Hope you all got home ok, especially Julie in the Yorkshire love bus, and Baz with the wonky wheel arch.

If you want to come to the August show add your names on here or contact me directly.

Can only echo what's already been said. Put kit car shows to shame. Repair to cycle wing lasted the trip back ok. Would love to go to the August show but have to go to Corfu for 3 weeks holiday. :)
