Oil Pressure All Over The Place

My oil pressure is reading off the gauge when driving then when i stop it drops to 0 then shoots back up again.

 

On tickover it is off the gauge

 

Does any body have any ideas

Gauge faulty or pressure relief valve sticking as quick guess

Possible air leak on oil pick up pipe

Do you still have oil pressure warning switch and light

If the light is off when the gauge is zero its the gauge

If the light flashes on when the gauge hits zero its the oil pressure relief valve or crap in the sump blocking the pick up gauze

your profile pic is a zero, so if you went standard build did you have the smiths flight from GBS?

Sounds like you are connected to oil pressure switch not oil pressure sensor?
