Angle Iron

hi all, i'm after some angled steel or aluminium just to make a small frame, about 48"x16", 1" or 2" square section, or anything near that, just wondering if anyone has any spare in their garage for sale, around south Yorkshire area, or know somewhere cheap to buy from, cheers ivan

I'll have a look tomorrow what I've got kicking around...

 

The problem is.....and to quote shaft....my steel stock is all "steam engine size"

You can get aluminium angle from B&Q

I go to our local steel stock holder / fabrication unit here in Lincoln and they let me root through their scrap bin.

Usually find what I need and the cost is usually a couple of quid in the tea boat.
