I decided to buy a digital tyre pressure gauge to check the accuracy of my compressors tyre inflater, i.ve found why i had a bit of an issue with my handling ! i was running 12.5psi all round now pumped up to 20psi and old tyre inflater is in the bin. Now to check all my other cars...

 

The checks for this trip are throwing up loads of little silly issues with the car... getting excited/ nervous now. sat will be the second longest trip ever in a kit, did 400miles in a day once in my 2b

Just to add to it started the kit this evening for a little run out and tap tap tap from the engine, after a mile it went so must have been a lifter not pumping up. But thought it was gonna be pug time

Go for it Richard, I'm off work this week so spare time is limited. There are only 5 or so waypoints each day to keep on the right track, not many roads in the highlands to pick from

I see Rob is soo desperate not to get wet. He made good use of those sad hrs sat in home economics lessons during his childhood. Who would have known that sewing lesson would come to good use. lmao
