That is a great film and as David says, heavy engineering still exists in the UK, I too like David work for Tata Steel in the projects section as an Electrical Engineer - I'm currently installing a 4 MegaWatt ( 4 Million Watts ) variable speed drive ID Fan at the Steelplant in Scunthorpe. The size of everything is huge!

 

Technically we have moved on in leaps & bounds, but the basic process is still the same....

 

I worked my way from the shop floor, but still love getting stuck in, I'm often found armed with tools and a multimeter!
