Fitment Of Omex Ecu

Hi, how have others fitted an omex ECU? I mean held it in place. Unless I'm being blind it has no fitting points, there doesn't appear to be a bracket on the market either..

Mine did have mounting holes to fix it to the bulkhead, but it is an old one.

 

No reason why you can't use heavy duty stick on stick Velcro.

Was thinking Velcro, I'm going to double check I've not been blind!

I used ct1 to stick besteck amplifier to engine bay it never fell off or make mount glue it to mount and bolt on

Guess Velcro is the best bet I case I need to send it off or something. Even as a security feature for long periods of time, no ECU no drive off and steal!

Velcro works best if you use 3 tail to the straps rather than 2.

Hard to describe but here goes. One end of the strap

has a double sided velcro tail faced with the soft part

The other end splits into 2 with both having the harder part.

These go either side of the single tail.....

All but impossible to pull apart.

I have this setup on my surfboard ankle leash...sadly not used much any more,

but it would rip your leg off before coming free.
