Kill Switch

Hi,

I've seen a few people have iva problems with kill switches in the cab.

I can't see anything in the iva manual about having to have one.

Are people fitting them as an isolator or emergency shut off?

Was thinking of leaving it off until post iva or fit an isolator on the battery.

i think if its in the cab it might fail the radius check they dont count as a security device, i only use mine as an isolator in case i have a senior moment when leaving the car

The isolator is good as a battery saver since it disconnects the battery from all sources of drain.

(not so good if you have a radio that needs a constant 12 volt source to prevent radio lock out and channel memory.)
