The taper fit plugs in Pintos are renowned for being hard to remove , expect to snap them if they have been in that long.

Get a new set of NGK's and a liberal amount of copper grease on the threads when you fit the new ones and every time there after.

Patience, patience and patience.

Lots of WD40, hot air and a very big steel bar and lots of patience....

More WD40 and more waiting...

More WD40 and waiting..

Finally 4 plugs out and new ones in with a drop of grease.

We ave managed to remove the old ballast points ignition and put in new sparks, HT leads, ignition coil and change the distributor to a non point system, whilst tracking down an electrical fault and renewing part of the wiring loom. :sorry:

Crocodile smile fitted back on and a quick trip around the block to make sure it's running ok.......! 8)

Now the temperature sensor for the fan has packed up :diablo: ........I will just bypass it with a switch for now (done).

Just needs a good tune up and new temperature sensor and it should be ready for Hollowell :)

Thank to up the help today....Dino & Nikki.
