the angry grinder even had to use it to fit my new crank pulley the bottom camshaft cover needed to be hoodied before the pulley would fit

had it running after I thought I had put it all back together and there was a nocking noise that was getting louder and louder then I remembered ooops hadn't tightened water pump pulley

well they were supposed to be blue bob but black is wot I got and couldn't be bothered to send them back

just wanted to get it running today so will be setting it up with dti gauge and verniers soon as I can when I was getting the engine locked at tdc and locking the cams I was surprised how far out the standard setup can be

Nice job and well done. Luck was on your side with the water pump eh.

Cost me a lot of money fitting to short of bottom pully bolt. The wrong one was off an early engine

, but the engine was a later one. Didn't notice the crank threads started a lot further up the shaft on the new engine.

If I recall correctly, my pinto was 4 deg out.
