The backplate will be dependant on the type of carbs your have fitted.

 

DANST has custom backing plates that you could cut to size or buy ready made for certain types:

I'm looking at the moment, but they are very expensive, so I might just use the wife's stockings until I have a little more dosh

 

Another option might be to just buy the piperX socks with cable ties and fit those if they will fit under the bonnet:

Sponge socks are not that deer. I actually gave two twin ones away last week. Sorry pal but if I'd have known.

yes will be there. but only sunday. need some parts. first time stoneleigh.is there a beer tent. could have one.
