Sidelights

Sidelights only come on with dipped beam . Is this ok for MOT ?

Getting close Chris! Been a mamouth task! Wiring was a nightmare and work keeps getting in the way . I underestimated how much work was needed. That's the trouble when you buy a wreck that's been stood for 7 years. Getting very close now . Running 6 weeks behind:)

Side lights must be separate.

Can I ask what column switches or dash switches you are using for the side lights on/off?

Nigel, I haven't a clue. The wiring diagram from Haynes does not match what I have. Can you tell from part number?

Possibly. The commonest column switches in use are sierra. The part numbers start with 83BG for early switches and later ones 87BG or 90BG. There are some differences between the early and late switches and circuits.

If you now have the sidelights working independantly you perhaps don't need to investigate further.

Part number 95AG 11K665 CA. 981212 C Z on a sticker then PA66-GF30. It is a Ford.

Quick update . I've got everything working but.... Hazards and sides will only work with ignition on????? Any ideas most welcome

None ignition feed to 4way switch.
