Evening Guys! Doing some thinking ahead.

Currently Running a 2.0 pinto in my 2B+ but thinking about changing the engine for something a little  more modern/ up to date.

Initial thoughts are ZTec or Duratec?

 

any suggestions or ideas welcome!

Depends a lot on budget- if you can afford a Duratec, you'll get more power but Zetec much more affordable.

Depends what your end goal is power wise

I’ll add to this by saying that while fitting a Duratec maybe a bit more expensive than a Zetec it will be a bit easier due to the exhaust being on the same side as the Pinto and I have been told that the exhaust port spacing is very similar so by cutting off the Pinto exhaust manifold plates and welding on a Duratec exhaust manifold plate you get a very cheap 4 branch exhaust.
